Before Installation
• Download the
installation instructions.
The installation instructions provide a step-by-step guide through the setup process, including information about actions to take in case of errors.
• If running Vista or Windows 7, you must log on as a computer administrator. The setup will not proceed correctly if run as any type of user
other than an administrator.
• Instead of double left clicking the downloaded file for Vista and Windows 7 users make sure you right click the downloaded file and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.
Windows 7 has 2 types of operating system, 32-bit or 64-bit. The copy of IDIS v2.0 installed must be for the correct operating system.
System Requirements:
• Supported Operating Systems:Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2;Windows Server 2008;Windows Vista;Windows Vista Service Pack 1;Windows XP Service Pack 2;Windows XP Service Pack 3;Windows 7
• 32-Bit Systems: Computer with Intel or compatible 1GHz or faster processor (2 GHz or faster is recommended. Only a single processor is supported)
• 64-Bit Systems: 1.4 GHz or higher processor (2 GHz or faster is recommended. Only a single processor is supported)
• Minimum of 512 MB of RAM (1 GB or more is recommended)
• 1 GB of free hard disk space
